AMANC is the first institution in Mexico to provide free and full support to children and adolescents with cancer during their treatment, and it is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility programme: 360 Princess and You. 

At Princess Hotels Riviera Maya, many of our initiatives come from our guests and staff and, thanks to them and our programme, we help to ensure that the donations we collect are distributed among the associations that need them most.   

14 February for a good cause

During the month of February, at Grand Riviera Princess, Grand Sunset Princess and Princess Family Club Riviera, we hosted the activity “14 February for a good cause” and we invited our staff to purchase small Valentine’s Day gifts. The sale of these items was for a good cause, as all profits would be donated to AMANC. 

As expected, many of our staff got involved and a feeling of love and friendship spread throughout the hotel. We were all happy to be able to help.

On 11 March, the money raised during the Valentine’s Day activity was finally donated, and we took advantage of the occasion to include a donation of towels and sheets provided by the hotels. 

During the presentation, the director Alberto Selas, together with the operations committee for Grand Riviera Princess, Grand Sunset Princess and Princess Family Club Riviera, were delighted to hand over the donation to Frida Shulz, representative of the association.  

Thanks to our partners

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our partners who supported the cause and we want to tell them that a simple gesture can improve our children’s quality of life. 

Like us, you can help too. If you are planning to visit Grand Riviera Princess, Grand Sunset Princess or Princess Family Club Riviera, make a space in your suitcase and bring some toys, clothes, school supplies or basic cleaning items, and place them in the collection box in the hotel so that they can be distributed to the communities and associations that need them.
