On the southern part of Gran Canaria, the 4-star Maspalomas Princess hotel is a resort near the beach of Maspalomas, Gran Canaria.
The hotel’s location is unbeatable. It is close to the Maspalomas Dunes Nature Reserve (in the immediate vicinity of the hotel) and to Maspalomas Golf, a golf course with 18 holes.
Our hotel, with 4 floors containing 389 rooms, has a Caribbean-inspired design featuring a well-kept tropical garden filled with countless majestic palm trees. It is one of the hotel’s main selling points. The setting is so calm one just feels like sitting in the shade of the trees with a good book to switch off for a while. Our garden holds the promise of great moments that are bound to be memorable.
As well as the landscaped areas, our hotel also has a wellness area where you can relax and disconnect. Pools with water jets, whirlpool baths… A small spa where you can heal your body with rest and wellbeing.
The pool area is also worth mentioning, as it includes its own artificial beach (sand by the pool) and a play area (slides and water games) in the children’s pool. MASPALOMAS DUNES AND LIGHTHOUSE
In the immediate vicinity of the hotel is the Maspalomas Dunes Nature Reserve, one of the most visited parts of the island. Right by the Atlantic Ocean, the dunes form a small desert and the lighthouse and the pond of Maspalomas add the perfect touch of charm to a postcard-worthy location.

Apart from being one of the most beautiful places from which to contemplate the sunset (which you can see on this post from our blog), Maspalomas Beach is an incredible beach, boasting almost 3 km of golden sand. The scarce waves and the area’s great touristic development make it a perfect beach for all, no matter what kind of holiday you are planning, be it a trip with your family, friends or significant other. MASPALOMAS BOTANICAL GARDEN
Located in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, the Maspalomas Botanical Garden comprises 12,000 square metres and more than 500 species of plants. There you will find a tropical garden filled with palm trees, fruit trees, aquatic plants, aromatic plants… even medicinal plants and spices from Macaronesia. It also houses a small recreational activities and interpretation centre for children: there they will learn to tell different species apart by playing clue-finding games on themed routes and biodiversity workshops. That is why the botanical garden is perfect both for a walk and for spending a day out with the family.

The hotel has 5 swimming pools in the main pool area, 3 of which are heated in winter, from 01/11 to 30/04. All the children’s pools, including the 2 pools in the water park, are heated in winter.
The heated pools have a temperature of approximately 25ºC.
We provide towels on arrival and two free replacements per week.
The All Inclusive option includes a wide range of national drinks and all meals and snacks available at the bars and restaurants in the hotel. All Inclusive is available from 9:00 until 23:00.
At reception you can request to upgrade to All Inclusive Plus, which includes a selection of international drinks and bottled water (for an extra fee).
In the evenings, we ask our guests to dress appropriately in the bars and restaurants. Therefore, entry to these areas will not be allowed wearing bathing suits, sleeveless shirts or sports clothes. Men are required to wear long trousers or formal shorts to dinner. During the Gala Dinners on 25 and 31 December, men are also required to wear formal trousers and a tie or jacket.
You can access your room from 14:00 and depart until 12:00 noon.

We provide free Wi-Fi (4 MB) throughout the hotel. The 10 MB Premium Wi-Fi is for pay. You can upgrade by paying the fee at reception.
To enter the Spa with Finnish saunas, steam baths, whirlpool bath and salt room you must pay an extra fee. It can be booked at the totems you will find in the hotel. The facilities can be booked for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Only for guests over the age of 18.
Our hotel is a “non-smoking” hotel (including tobacco, vapers, electronic cigarettes). Smoking or vaping is only allowed in completely open-air areas that are marked for smoking or vaping, e.g. with ashtrays.

Both hotels share the same facilities. The only difference is the interior design of the rooms and the bathroom equipment. Rooms in Maspalomas Princess have new beds, balcony furniture, paint and smart TVs. Also, the hotel’s Prestige Suite has been completely renovated.
