Our adults only hotel Guayarmina Princess is on the beachfront in Costa Adeje, in southern Tenerife, only 150 metres from Fañabé Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the area, with grey volcanic sand, calm waters and a Blue Flag certification for the outstanding quality of its water and services and its significant natural value.
This impressive 4-star hotel in Costa Adeje is on the beachfront and offers all board types, even all inclusive. Furthermore, it was renovated in 2018 and its impressive Greco-Roman architecture and sophisticated interior design make a visit well worth it.
With an unbeatable location, our 4-star resort in south Tenerife is named after a noble aboriginal Canary princess. It is in one of the most touristic parts of the island, which makes its promenade, which can be reached directly from the hotel, a lively location with a wide range of services: gastronomy (bars and restaurants all along the promenade), shopping centre and shops and even a tourist information office.
Thanks to its location on the beachfront, most of the 505 rooms have wonderful sea views over the Atlantic Ocean, or the vibrant and touristic Costa Adeje, where the leisure options are endless.
Inside the hotel, the new spa is a magnificent wellness space fully dedicated to our guests’ health and wellbeing.
It has an indoor freshwater pool at 26-27ºC (48 m2) with massage jets, Turkish bath, sauna, Bali beds and massage cabins (a double cabin in the interior for couples’ massages).
It also has a chill-out area with sunbeds decorated with natural materials and an eco-chic style that perfectly matches this space designed to allow our clients maximum wellness and relaxation.
The spa also offers cosmetic and beauty services: hairdressing, manicure and pedicure.
Our hotel with spa in Costa Adeje has three wonderful outdoor pools on different levels where you can rest and sunbathe while enjoying the very best services, one of which is the exclusive Platinum area.
Gastronomy is synonymous with excellence in our hotel. Buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at our Food Market, the main restaurant with its live cooking stations.
Another option for dinner is available at the restaurant “The Roast”, where you can delight your taste buds with meat specialties.
What is more, guests who want an extra dash of exclusivity and have booked one of the Platinum rooms can enjoy the new Platinum area with exclusive services and facilities. Among them are the Platinum Lounge, with its very own restaurant, and the Platinum Sun Terrace, which includes an infinity pool with a chill-out bar, the very best sea views and Bali beds.
Platinum guests can also have dinner in the à la carte restaurant Platinum Club. The entire hotel has three restaurants where you can enjoy a wide variety of choice dishes.
Guayarmina Princess offers many diverse bars, as many as 6 with distinct personalities, one of which is in the Platinum area. You can calmly sit with a book while the sea breeze surrounds you, spend a romantic evening with your significant other and enjoy the sea views or while away a fun evening with friends.
Fañabé Beach
Located next to Torviscas Beach, it is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Tenerife. What makes it even more enticing is that it is usually emptier than other beaches in the area, like El Duque Beach.
But lots of people still come throughout the year, on account of its being in a lively area where one can come for a pleasant holiday at any time of the year, even in winter.
On days with high visibility, the views from this beach are wonderful and one can see as far as La Gomera Island. Contemplating the sunset on this beach is one of the loveliest pleasures you can enjoy in this unique part of Tenerife.
Just as beautiful as any of the other most popular beaches on the island, Fañabé Beach is known for its accessibility (reserved parking, access ramps and walkways) and its safety, as its waters are very calm due to the lack of winds (this is because it is on the least windy part of the island, the south-west, and is sheltered by a breakwater), which means that safe swimming for the whole family is a bonus worth taking into account.
But the fun on Tenerife is not limited to its beaches! Our hotel in Costa Adeje Guayarmina Princess is very close to other places of interest where families can enjoy themselves, such as the popular water parks Siam Park and Aqualand Costa Adeje (23 and 16 minutes away respectively), among others, or the unique Camel Park and Monkey Park (both 10 minutes away). These are only a few examples of all the fun and adventure that await on the island!
And if you have some cultural and/or active tourism in mind, below is a list of interesting outdoor activities. Check them out!
Sightseeing: what to see in Costa Adeje
Guayarmina Princess is also close to several places of interest such as the famous Barranco del Infierno in the protected Barranco del Infierno Special Natural Reserve. The route, which begins 350 metres above sea level, is an essential activity, as it takes you by charming waterfalls, ancient canals and spectacular vantage points. The panoramic views over the landscape are breath-taking.
A lesser known trail is the one that leads up the Mount Chayofita, very near our hotel, where you will not only be able to enjoy a pleasant walk through Tenerife’s gorgeous landscapes but also discover an exceptionally quiet site from which to contemplate the sunset far from the madding crowd.
Also near our hotel you will find the Roque del Conde or Roque de Hío, a tabletop mountain that, at its highest point, is 1,001 metres above sea level (the largest on the Canary Islands), making it an ideal trekking destination (along the Roque del Conde trail). Then there is also La Quinta – Boca del Paso (Taucho), an ancient mansion (and chapel) dating back to the late 16th century. Here you will explore the remains of the activities carried out at this site.
Lastly, we cannot forget to mention all these famous must-sees: the Teide Natural Park, the cliffs of Los Gigantes, Martiánez Lake, the Pyramids of Guímar, Drago Milenario, Orotava Valley… The list is endless on the island of Tenerife. Come find out for yourself!
