At Princess Hotels Riviera Maya, we continuously promote social initiatives to build a better world.

Princess And You 360, our corporate social responsibility programme, is the reason why we are able to carry out all these actions, many of which are supported by Pack For a Purpose.

In this case, our aim is to work with our community and bring a smile to the faces of the little ones around us.

Contando con un amigo (Counting on a friend)

Grand Riviera Princess and Grand Sunset Princess, as part of their corporate social responsibility programme, have partnered with ten associations. Through these partnerships, the hotels have been able to provide assistance to some of the most vulnerable members of society.

ES MI CUMPLE (IT’S MY BIRTHDAY) is a project that was created to celebrate the birthdays of children belonging to one of our partner foundations, Contando con un amigo.

Contando con un amigo is a foundation dedicated to feeding and caring for children in difficult situations, as well as providing schooling for around 80 primary and secondary school children.

The main objective of this collaboration is to create an unforgettable experience in the lives of the children as they celebrate another year of life.

The foundation also aims to support their parents through vocational workshops and talks to develop their productiveness, training them in food hygiene, waste separation and educational topics for their children.

Es mi cumple (It’s my birthday)

Once a month in 2023, we will go to the municipality of Solidaridad (in Playa del Carmen, Mexico) to carry out this activity.

Accompanied by our entertainment team and other volunteers, we will celebrate all the children’s birthdays of the month, present them with a delicious cake, play with piñatas and eat sweets together.

Thanks to donations from our guests and the Pack for a Purpose initiative, we will be able to give each birthday child a goody bag containing toiletries, school supplies and toys.

Our staff always return to the hotels with a smile on their faces, happy and proud after celebrating such a special day with these children.
