Can you give a short description of yourself?

Hello, I am Fernando Tec, from the city of Ticul, Yucatan, and I am happy to introduce myself to you. I am a committed, honest and responsible person. But more than anything, fun. I always want the best for those around me.

 

How did you end up working in Princess?

I was fortunate to be invited to join this company by Mr John Par, who was our corporate purchasing director and who has since retired.

 

What is your job at the Grand Riviera Princess Hotel?

My function in the hotel is that of executive sous-chef. My job is to verify and check the buffet set-ups, breakfast and lunch openings, and to make sure we meet all the established standards regarding the quality and presentation of the food.

 

What do you value most about your work?

I value everything I do. I carry out my work with a lot of love. I like to experiment, I like to show what I can do, I like to teach. I like to achieve the goals that we set out for the success of our kitchens and our foods.

 

Which is your favourite part of the hotel?

My favourite parts of the hotel are obviously the kitchen, but also different areas such as the staff dining room, the themed restaurants, the Chill Out… Generally speaking, I love the whole hotel.

 

Anything else you would like to add?

I want to thank all my colleagues, because without them we would not be able to achieve our goal of providing a good service to our guests and to help create a nice atmosphere. I think we are a good team and we have proved it. We have been very successful over time, and it has been a real team effort.
