Can guests at Tropical Deluxe Princess use the pools at Caribe Deluxe Princess?
Yes, the common areas of the hotels are shared by all guests, including the pools.
Can guests at Tropical Deluxe Princess access other hotels in the chain?
Guests at Tropical Deluxe Princess can walk around and use the communal facilities at Caribe Deluxe Princess.
Is it safe to drink the tap water at the hotel?
The tap water in our hotel is treated, but is not suitable for drinking. We provide bottled water in the rooms, and you can always ask for water in our bars.
Is smoking allowed in the hotel?
The hotel follows the rules of the Dominican government, so smoking is allowed in the open areas such as balconies, gardens, terraces, as long as it is not in the children’s areas, out of respect for the children. In enclosed areas, smoking is not allowed under any circumstances.
What is the weather like?
Being in the Caribbean, the climate is fairly constant throughout the year, with high temperatures and humidity. It is also important to note that rain showers can occur throughout the day at any time of the year.

Is there an adults-only area?
Our hotel is family friendly, so there are no specific areas for over 18s. If you are looking for an adults-only experience, we suggest you check out our sister hotel, Punta Cana Princess.
What is the difference between Tropical Deluxe Princess and Caribe Deluxe Princess?
The two hotels share restaurants, pools and communal areas and guests can move from one to the other freely, except for the Platinum areas, which are for Platinum guests only. The differences are in the room categories, as the Tropical Deluxe has more family rooms with bunk beds, such as the Family Suite.
RESTAURANTS / BARS
Is it necessary to make reservations at the restaurants?
Restaurant reservations must be made through the webapp. It is important that you do this once you arrive at the hotel as you will be asked for your room number.
Do you offer food for people with special diets or allergies?
At our hotel, we offer a wide variety of dining options to suit all tastes. If you have a dietary requirement or allergy, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service department and we will be happy to help you find options to suit your needs.
Is there a dress code in the restaurants?
Yes, there are dress codes in our restaurants. We recommend you check our webapp as the dress code varies depending on whether it is day or night, buffet or themed.
Do you serve non-alcoholic drinks?
Yes, we have a wide range of non-alcoholic drinks.
ROOMS
What types of rooms are available?
The hotel offers a range of accommodation options to suit the needs of all guests.
Are room upgrades available?
It is possible to upgrade your room or purchase Platinum Services on arrival, subject to availability. Please ask at the reception for rates and details.
How many beds are there in the family rooms?
Family rooms have one king-size bed and three single beds arranged as a bunk bed with an extra bed under the bunk bed that can be pulled out.
What are the rooms like and what facilities do they have?
For more information about our rooms, we recommend that you visit our website, where you will find a description of the rooms, their characteristics and maximum occupancy.
Is it possible to book a room with a specific view or in a specific location?
This depends on availability and the type of room booked, as not all rooms have this facility. You can send a request to [email protected] and they will take note of your request, although it cannot be guaranteed.
They will also be able to tell you if your request is possible with the room type you have booked, or the cost of upgrading if necessary.
Is there Wi-Fi in the rooms?
We offer basic internet access in all communal areas and rooms. If you need a faster connection, we offer premium internet for $6 per day, $12 for three days or $18 for seven days. You can book this online directly from the hotel.
ACTIVITIES
At what age can my children join the Kids Club?
Children from 4 to 12 years old can enjoy a fun-filled day at the Kids Club.
How old do my children have to be to join the Teens Club?
Teens must be between 13 and 17 years old to use the Teens Club facilities.
What activities do the Kids and Teens Clubs offer?
Both clubs offer a wide range of entertainment to choose from. Here are just a few examples:

Do you have tennis courts?
We have tennis courts available for our guests to use free of charge. However, if you wish to use the courts in the evenings or take lessons, there is an additional charge.
Do you have a casino?
Our hotel does not have a casino, but our guests have access to the Avalon Casino at the Grand Bávaro Princess, just a few minutes away from Tropical. The cost of the service is extra.
SERVICES
Do you provide a babysitting service?
We have a private babysitting service, for more information on prices and availability, please contact our customer service department.
Do you provide special gifts for birthdays or anniversaries?
Please send us a photo of your passport or ID showing your birthday so that we can apply for the relevant special gift. If it is a wedding anniversary, we will need a certificate showing the date of the wedding.
This should be sent to [email protected] before you arrive at the hotel or handed to our customer service department at check-in.
Is room service included?
Room service is not included except for Platinum guests. You can consult the prices and menu on our webapp.
Do you have a spa?
Yes, we have a spa and a hairdresser. However, we would like to mention that these services are not included. You can find all the information and prices on our webapp. Appointments and reservations must be made while staying at the hotel, either by phone or directly in the spa. Alternatively, you can ask our customer service department in the hotel lobby for help.
Do you provide a transfer service to/from the airport?
We do not have our own transfer service, but you can book a transfer online at https://princess.nexustours.com/.
You can also find a taxi on arrival at the airport. The taxi fare from Punta Cana airport to the hotel is approximately US$40.
Are there any shops nearby?
Yes, we have a shopping arcade on the hotel premises.
Is it possible to hold weddings/events at the hotel?
