GENERAL INFORMATION
Can Princess Family Club Bávaro guests access the Grand Bávaro Princess children’s pool?
Yes, they can access the entire miniclub area, children’s pool and children’s activities at the Grand Bávaro Princess.
Can Princess Family Club Bávaro guests access other hotels in the Princess chain?
Princess Family Club Bávaro guests have access to the Grand Bávaro Princess (except Platinum areas). The rest of the hotels would have an extra cost and we would have check the possibility and availability with customer service.
Is it possible to drink the hotel’s tap water?
No. Although the tap water in our hotel is treated, it is not suitable for consumption, which is why we provide bottled water in the rooms and also in our bars whenever you want you can request water.
Is smoking allowed in the hotel?
The smoking policy in the hotel is the same as that allowed by the Dominican government, which prohibits smoking in closed areas (such as inside the room or inside restaurants), but allows it in open areas (such as on room terraces and restaurants or in gardens and the beach).
However, we appreciate that guests try not to smoke in children’s areas (even if they are outdoors).
What is the climate like?
The climate is generally warm and humid all year round, however, since it is an area in the Caribbean it can vary from sunny to rainy in a matter of moments, it is always advisable to follow an official weather page.

Is there an adults-only area?
Our entire hotel is Family Friendly, therefore, it does not have specific areas for people over 18 years old. If you need an adults-only hotel, we encourage you to visit our Punta Cana Princess hotel.
RESTAURANTS / BARS
Do restaurant reservations need to be made?
Yes, it is necessary to make reservations, they are made through the webapp, and they must be made once you are in-house, since the room number is required.
Do you have a restaurant and/or bar in the Family area?
Yes, the Family area has a snack-bar called El Mordisco for breakfast and lunch. It also has a bar, called Hobbit, near the pool with the water park.
Do you have food for people with special diets or allergies?
In our hotel we are prepared to assist people with different types of dietary requirements and allergies. Upon your arrival, please stop by our customer service department to explain your needs so that they can assist you in indicating how to proceed.
Are there dress codes in restaurants?
Yes, check on our webapp which one is right for the occasion, since they vary depending on whether day or night, buffet or theme.
Are there any non-alcoholic beverages?
Yes, we have several non-alcoholic beverage options.
Do you have strollers for children?
For Family Club customers, we have strollers for children, subject to availability.
ROOMS
What types of rooms are there?
There are the Family Junior Suite rooms and the Family Junior Suite Swim Out, the latter with direct access from the room to the pool.
Is it possible to upgrade a room?
It is possible to upgrade a room from Junior Suite to Junior Suite Swim Out or purchase Platinum services upon arrival, as long as there is availability.
How many beds do Family rooms have?
They consist of a king size bed and 3 single beds arranged like a bunk bed plus an extra bed under the bunk bed that can be taken out.
What are the rooms like and what features do they have?
In order to have more information about our rooms, we recommend you visit our website where you can find their description and features as well as possible occupancy.
Is it possible to have specific views or a specific room location?
The Family rooms are all located in the same U-shaped area, all have views of the pools and central gardens of that U. You can locate them by looking at the hotel map.
Is there Wi-Fi in the room?
The hotel has basic internet included in the public areas and rooms. If this is not enough for your needs, you can purchase Premium Internet with a price per device of $6 for 1 day, $12 for 3 days and $18 for 7 days. The guest can make the purchase online from the hotel.
Are bathrobes, slippers, or glasses with logos available to all guests?
Yes, all Family guests have bathrobes available in the room for adults and children, slippers for adults and children and fun glasses with the logos (among other amenities).
Do the rooms have microwaves or bottle warmers?
The rooms do not have these items, but they can be requested from the hotel.

Children from 4 years old to 12 years old are allowed in the Kids Club.

We have tennis courts and we provide rackets and balls. It only has an extra charge if classes are needed or if it is for night use.

Is there an internal shuttle service to get around the hotel?
Yes, there is internal transport that runs throughout the hotel. From 7 AM to 12 AM.
Is it possible to request a babysitting service?
There is the possibility of hiring a private babysitter, for prices and availability please visit our customer service department.
Is there any kind of courtesy for people on birthdays, or anniversaries?
In order to have the corresponding small gifts ready, prior to your arrival you need to send a picture of the passport or ID where the birthday shows, or in the case of an anniversary the wedding certificate with the date to [email protected] . It is also possible, if you prefer, to present it during the hotel check in to our customer service department.

Do you have a spa?

You can also find a taxi when you arrive at the airport. The taxi cost per trip from Punta Cana airport to the hotel is approximately 40 USD.
