Children’s Day at Princess Hotels Riviera Maya
On the 30th of April, our Princess hotels in the Riviera Maya celebrated “Children’s Day” in collaboration with the Association “Contando con un amigo”. This action was aimed at young children, who enjoyed a morning full of activities and fun workshops.
Thanks to our programme Princess and You 360 Sustainable, we are always committed to our environment and surroundings, and this time it was our turn to bring joy to the children around us who do not have enough resources.
A fun-filled day
In the morning, they carried out drawing activities, decorated an eco-pot and designed their own Princess T-shirt.
Later, they enjoyed a balanced lunch, although… it also contained some sweets. Because what would a Children’s Day celebration be without sweets?
After lots of activities and full tummies, it was time to enjoy a pool party followed by an amazing foam party. It was certainly a fun day for the children and one that we know they will remember for a long time to come.
Once the activities came to an end, the executive committee put the icing on the cake by handing out backpacks filled with toys, school supplies and personal hygiene products to the children of the association.
Fundación Contando con un amigo, A.C.
“Contando con un amigo” is a multi-grade school for the children of Playa del Carmen who are poor or in vulnerable situations.
As a foundation, they have distributed food and clothing to families in need.
Today, they have created a support house to care for teenagers suffering from addictions.
