20 March is the International Day of Happiness, established by the UN as a symbolic date to commemorate the importance of happiness as an integral part of the development and well-being of all human beings.

At Grand Riviera Princess, Grand Sunset Princess and Princess Family Club Riviera,we wanted it to last for more than just a day, so we prepared a whole week of activities to promote happiness, well-being and healthy relationships among our employees.

Talks on the dimensions of wellness and mindfulness

Talks on the dimensions of wellness and mindfulness

On our first day, we organised a talk that allowed our employees to learn about and recognise the dimensions of wellness, which include emotional, physical, occupational, intellectual, financial, social, environmental and spiritual wellness.

On the second day, the conversation was about mindfulness, and the aim was to achieve a deep state of awareness using specific techniques during the session.

Yoga class

Living in a world where everything is moving faster and faster, we need to stop and reflect on the well-being of our bodies and, above all, our minds.

That is why, on the third day, we invited our workers to take a yoga class. It was an opportunity to apply everything they had learned over the previous two days, especially the techniques for reaching a deeper state of consciousness, and what better than a yoga class to apply these new skills.

Cardio dance class

We know that it is important to maintain balance between body and mind, and so, on the fourth day, we held a cardio dance class. This session, involving dance moves and practical exercises, filled our employees with the energy they needed to start the day. To the rhythm of Latin sounds, all feelings of lethargy were left behind and we truly demonstrated that dance is the language of the body.

At the end of the week, we are sure that our employees left feeling happier, having learned what it really means to be happy, strengthened their mind and body, and gained valuable tools for everyday life.

Princess and You 360º

Princess and You 360º

At Princess Hotels Caribe, we have a Corporate Social Responsibility programme called Princess and You 360º

Through this programme, we want to promote a commitment to our surroundings. Not just with our community, but also with the environment, our suppliers, our guests and our employees.

To achieve this, we promote different actions throughout the year. One of our  latest initiatives was designed to make our employees feel happier, and we believe we succeeded in doing just that!

Do you think we succeeded? Do you want us to make you happy too?
