Donation of toys by Princess Hotels Riviera Maya to the “Counting on a Friend” Foundation – 2026

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility programme, Princess and You 360, a heart-warming initiative known as El Árbol de la Ilusión (The Tree of Hope) was recently held at Princess Hotels Riviera Maya.

This charitable event brought guests and staff together with a common goal, namely to bring smiles to the faces of children in the community in collaboration with the Contando con un Amigo (Counting on a Friend) Foundation.

Thanks to the generosity of our guests we were able to collect a quantity of toys that were later presented to the children, making this a truly special, heart-warming experience.

A gesture that comes from the heart

The Tree of Hope represents much more than a donation; it is proof that when people unite with empathy and solidarity it is possible to create truly unforgettable moments.

Each toy donated symbolised a wish fulfilled, a ray of hope, and a show of affection that lit up the face of every child who participated in this wonderful activity.

A magical day with the Three Wise Men

To make the moment even more special, the team at Princess Hotels Riviera Maya dressed up as the Three Wise Men and surprised the children from the local school associated with the Contando con un Amigo Foundation.

The excitement was palpable, and wide eyes, nervous laughter, and contagious joy filled every corner.

In addition to handing out toys there were also recreational activities, sharing of rosca (cake), and pleasant moments of conviviality in which the children were able to have fun and enjoy a truly magical experience.

From the very first moment the children were enthusiastic and excited as they experienced a moment that will remain etched in their hearts for a long time. Observing the happiness reflected in each child reminds us of the true value of these actions.

The event was not just about handing out toys, but about sharing moments, attention, and affection, and creating memories that transcend the moment.

These small yet significant actions reinforce our commitment to the community and motivate us to continue working for a more caring and humane society.
