One of the key actions has been to obtain certificates that guarantee the sustainability of the products we supply to our resorts in Punta Cana.

• DIN Certco: This certificate ensures that products meet high quality and sustainability standards by verifying their environmental impact and ensuring proper management of natural resources.
• ECM: This certificate is awarded to plastic products that include biodegradable additives, meaning they decompose faster and more efficiently, thereby reducing the impact of plastic waste on the environment.
• FSC (Forest Stewardship Council): This certification ensures that wood and paper products come from responsibly managed forests and, as such, protect both biodiversity and the rights of local communities.

These certifications not only support our commitment to sustainability but also ensure that our guests enjoy an environmentally friendly experience.

At our resorts in Punta Cana (Grand Bávaro Princess, Princess Family Club Bávaro, Punta Cana Princess, Caribe Deluxe Princess and Tropical Deluxe Princess) we are proud to use environmentally friendly products that contribute to care of the environment.

• Tubes with ECM additive:

The tubes we use include ECM (Environmental Catalytic Material), a biodegradable additive that accelerates the decomposition of plastic, thus reducing its environmental impact.

• FSC Certified Cases and Boxes:

All cases and boxes are made from FSC certified cardboard, which guarantees that they come from responsibly managed forests, thus contributing to the preservation of ecosystems.

• Complementary items made from PSM (Plastarch Material):
  • Toothbrushes, shower caps, combs and razors are made from PSM, a bioplastic derived from starch.
  • PSM is biodegradable, thermoplastic, and capable of withstanding high temperatures, making it an ideal choice for products that require durability and environmental responsibility.
