Bringing joy to the La Llanada Primary School – Princess Hotels Punta Cana

Here at Princess Hotels Punta Cana we once again carried out an exciting community action.

As part of our ongoing commitment to the community, and via our Princess and You 360 social policy programme, we were able to make our annual donation of toys collected via the Christmas Tree of Illusion campaign to the children of this small, local school in Higüey, and we would like to tell you all about it.

A magical day

Today we would like to share with everyone our experience of last Thursday, January the 18th. It was a day of joy, solidarity and smiles that we were able to experience in the company of the La Llanada Primary School in Higüey.

On this enthusiastic morning a group of workers made their way to the school in representation of each of our Punta Cana hotels:

• Grand Bávaro Princess
• Princess Family Club Bávaro
• Punta Cana Princess
• Tropical Deluxe Princess
• Caribe Deluxe Princess

They went there with the aim of bringing joy to the hearts of approximately 200 children. La Llanada Primary School, located between mountains and dreamy green landscapes, was the perfect setting for our solidarity action.

And what a joy it was to see the little faces light up when we arrived with boxes full of gifts, homemade biscuits and snacks!

Superheroes of joy

Armed with the generosity of our guests, the indispensable help of the Pack for a Purpose programme, and the generous donations of our own employees, we managed to create an atmosphere of laughter and joy.

Our collaborators delighted the little ones and contributed to making this day an unforgettable moment for all concerned.

Not only did they bring toys, they also became superheroes for the children of La Llanada!

Superman, Spiderman, Batman, Ironman, Crowny (our iconic mascot) and even the Easter Bunny joined in to make the day extra-special.

Their colourful costumes and contagious enthusiasm brightened up the day and filled the hearts of the little ones with laughter and joy. The magic of Princess Hotels is more than just hospitality!

With every superhero costume and every smile we erect bridges of hope and joy in the community. Let’s continue to bring happiness where it is most needed, because together we make a difference.

And a special thanks to Mr. Federico Espinal, director of the Punta Cana Princess, Caribe Deluxe Princess and Tropical Deluxe Princess hotels, who enthusiastically joined us in contributing to this noble cause. His presence and support for the donations not only demonstrate his commitment to the community but also inspires all of us to follow his example of generosity and solidarity.

But that’s not all, folks. 2024 has just begun and we shall continue to create magical moments full of solidarity!

There are still more solidarity actions ahead of us, and we would like to invite all our dear guests to join us in these special initiatives:

• You can contribute to the home for the elderly by donating hygiene products, non-perishable foods, essential medicines, board games, sheets and towels.
• We also extend a warm invitation to participate in our future school supplies campaign, where notebooks, pencils, educational games and sports equipment will be welcomed with open arms.

At Princess Hotels in the Dominican Republic we believe in the power of solidarity and the positive impact we can make together. Thank you for being part of this beautiful family and for helping us make every action a story of love and hope.
