Princess Hotels in Barcelona reaffirm their commitment to mental health
One of our top priorities here at Princess Hotels in Barcelona is the well-being of our employees. With this in mind, and as part of our commitment to both the general development and health of our team and our Princess & Me Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, in 2025 we will be launching a new Mental Health programme. This ambitious project will be carried out in collaboration with GESEME, a consultancy organisation specialising in Corporate Wellbeing and Mental Health.
A step forward in the creation of a healthy work environment
Since 2018 our Princess & Me programme has sought to promote initiatives focussing on improving the quality of life and job satisfaction of our staff. However, in a world where work-related stress and emotional exhaustion are increasingly common, we have decided to go one step further and implement a comprehensive approach to caring for the mental health of our employees.
The main objectives of this new programme are to foster trust and collaboration in teams, prevent work-related stress, and introduce tools designed to improve the emotional and physical well-being of each member of staff. As Santiago Hernández Zayas, director of the Barcelona Princess Hotel, says:
“Teamwork plays a key role in the success of our organisation. It is essential [for our employees] to feel well, to feel at ease.”
A programme based around three core ideas
In an effort to ensure a positive, lasting impact, the Mental Health programme at Princess Hotels in Barcelona will be structured around three key areas:
- A Qualitative Study of the Working Environment
- A Health Programme for Team Leaders
- A Wellbeing Programme

This programme, in which participation is voluntary, seeks to have a positive impact on the lives of our collaborators. Through their participation, employees will be able to:
