The Maspalomas & Tabaiba Princess resort is the perfect island base, located next to the impressive Maspalomas Dunes in the south of Gran Canaria.

The jewel in this family-friendly hotel’s crown is the sensational kid’s water park. The littlest members of your brood are going to love shooting down the slides between elephants and giraffes – they’ll feel like they’re on safari!

And when they’re having fun, it’s time for the grown-ups to relax. Sit back, sunbathe and cool off with a refreshing drink in the bars and terraces, dotted throughout the swimming pool area on little islets.

The hotel’s Mini Club is another major draw, offering tailor-made activities every day for children aged 4 to 12. They put on everything from crafts to games in the pool and outdoor sports. Plus, there’s an excellent, well-equipped kid’s playground.

El Teatro Bar puts on a mini disco every day from 20:30 to 21:00, where the little ones can dance and laugh along to the best songs. They certainly won’t have time to get bored!

And if you’re coming with teens, we’ve got them covered too. The Junior Club, designed for teens between the ages of 13 and 17 organises sporting contests, such as beach volleyball, archery or water polo..

Maspalomas & Tabaiba Princess offers an all-inclusive board with a full range of quality cuisines. Every member of the family is guaranteed to find what they are looking for in the resort’s numerous buffet restaurants. Kids will just love the Mordisco Family Snack (open from 11:00 to 18:00). Located right by the pool it’s the ideal place for delicious snacks, drinks and ice cream. The Italian themed restaurant is another place the whole family will enjoy. Taurito Princess: Our beach hotel in the south of Gran Canarias

Taurito Princess is another of our family hotels in Gran Canaria. It is located directly on Taurito Beach and not far from the popular fishing village of Puerto de Mogán, in the very south of Gran Canaria.

Swimming in the sea, exploring caves, going on a banana boat ride or trying out parasailing; it’s all possible due to the direct beach location.

Back at the hotel, you can enjoy a range of facilities and services tailored to your little ones’ needs. There are two outdoor kid’s pools (35 and 18 square metres). One comes complete with a dragon slide – get ready to hear their squeals of delight!

There’s also an entertainment service and Mini Club for children between the ages of 5 and 12, where they can get busy with crafts, games in the swimming pool or outdoor sports.

Then there’s the Maxi Club for young people between 13 and 17 years old, with its own large zone set aside for table tennis and other recreational games.

Other services designed just for them include the mini disco, playing tunes from 20:30 to 21:00, and a children’s playground. They’ll have a whale of a time, then be ready to drift off to sleep with a smile!

The hotel offers various all-inclusive options. For lunch, they can head for a mini buffet catering to their tastes, where they can serve themselves easily and conveniently. Finger-licking good!

Another must on our list is the Dunas de Maspalomas natural park. You’ll find these other-worldly sand dunes close to our Maspalomas & Tabaiba Princess, as well as Puerto de Mogán, known as ‘Little Venice’.

The island is also home to a number of theme parks for fun with the kids. Oasis Lago Taurito is close to our Taurito Princess hotel – Gran Canaria’s only seawater water park. The Angry Birds activity park in Puerto Rico is also well worth a visit.

In Maspalomas you can splash your way around another water park – Aqualand. This one’s open every day of the year, and offers a wealth of attractions for young and old!
