At Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica, the safety and well-being of our guests and team members remain our highest priority, and we stand in solidarity with Jamaica as we support the island’s ongoing recovery and rebuilding.
In recent weeks, our team has worked in close collaboration with the relevant external authorities to complete a comprehensive inspection and assessment of Princess Senses The Mangrove and Princess Grand Jamaica. This process aimed to identify and address any areas requiring restoration to ensure that both resorts meet the highest operational, safety, and quality standards prior to reopening.
Following the recommendations of the assessment team, and in alignment with our commitment to excellence, we wish to advise of the updated opening dates as follows:
- –Princess Senses The Mangrove: February 1, 2026
- –Princess Grand Jamaica: March 1, 2026
While our facilities, including our self-sustaining energy generation plant (trigeneration) and reverse osmosis potable water plant that allow for operational readiness sooner, we believe it is essential to allocate this additional time to ensure a complete recovery and to uphold our promise of delivering the full Princess experience: first-class service, complete amenities, and an exceptional stay in a paradisiacal setting.
