Skylights restaurant at Platinum Yucatán Princess resumes its monthly food and wine pairing dinners.

The pandemic forced us to take a break from our monthly dining experiences, but we were keen to bring them back as soon as possible.

We have been waiting patiently for the best time to do this, and we’re happy to announce that the wait is finally over!

What does the event include?

Skylights Dinner

Our Head Chef, Agustín Puc, has spent several months out of the country, gathering ideas, experiences and new ingredients, and has returned together with Ignacio del Rio Mora, Executive Chef at Benazuza restaurant in Cancún, holder of 4 AAA diamonds, and winner of awards such as the Mexican Cuisine Global.

Together, they will present a 6-course pairing menu on the 18th of November from 6pm, which will pay tribute to different ingredients from around the world.

The dishes will feature Gruyere cheese from Switzerland, leg of venison from New Zealand, secreto iberico and octopus from Spain, pecorino romano from Italy, and of course, Mexican ingredients such as Yucatecan pork, leg of lamb and salt from Celestún, all perfectly combined to provide an exquisite fusion of flavours.

All this without forgetting the fine selection of wines and mixology prepared by our sommelier Miguel Luna.

How do I get involved?

Assist to the event

There are different ways to get involved, with the option of staying at Platinum Yucatan Princess or just attending the dinner:

  • Pre-sale price: Available until the day before the event at a cost of $1,250.00 MXN per person.
  • Dinner + night pass: We offer options that include dinner and a visit to the salsa bar where you can extend the evening until 1am, all for $2,000.00 MXN per person.
  • Dinner + 1 night stay: In addition to dinner, you can enjoy a night in one of our comfortable and spacious Deluxe Junior Suites for only $2,800.00 MXN per person.
