Golf in Fuerteventura
Jandía Golf Course
If you’re keen to enjoy your favourite sport on the island, we recommend Jandía Golf. Here, you can tee off at any time of year, thanks to the area’s average annual temperature of 21°C. Plus, you’ll be treated to spectacular views of the mountains and the Jandía Lighthouse.
This course was designed by architect Ron Kirby, who also created Salobre Golf North and Meloneras Golf in Gran Canaria. It boasts 18 holes across a par 72 layout, covering an area of 335,086 square metres. The course is built to entertain golfers of all levels, offering holes that encourage the use of various clubs and playing techniques.
On site, you’ll also find a practice area that includes a 20-bay driving range, a bunker and various target greens, a pitching green and a putting green. At the Pro Shop, you can pick up all sorts of golfing accessories – gloves, caps, shoes, and more. And at the Clubhouse, a refined social area, you can relax and connect with fellow players from around the world.
Located in the south of Fuerteventura, it’s just a 10-minute drive from our hotels on the island, Fuerteventura Princess and Club Jandía Princess.
Playitas Golf
Playitas Golf opened its doors in late 2009 and was designed by the esteemed architect John Chilver-Stainer. The course is known for its undulating terrain and is located in the small coastal town of Las Playitas, in south-west Fuerteventura. One of its greatest appeals is the stunning sea views and the mountainous backdrop.
This is an 18-hole, par 67 course offering a rewarding experience for players of all levels. Open 365 days a year, Playitas Golf allows you to play in enviable weather conditions, with a consistent average temperature of over 20°C. Fuerteventura Golf Club
This was the first golf course on the island and hosted the Spanish Open in 2004. Located just south of the holiday resort of Caleta de Fuste, it’s known for its proximity to the sea and beautiful natural surroundings.
Fuerteventura Golf Club spans over 1.5 million square metres and is considered “the largest green area on the island”. It offers 18 holes, par 72, with holes 1 to 10 forming a round trip to the sea. The course is flat and features fairways up to 50 metres wide with very spacious greens, along with 67 bunkers carefully integrated into the design. Be aware, though – it’s a demanding course that calls for solid swing skills.
This location also offers a practice area, an 800-square-metre putting green, a driving range with over 50 bays, and a green approach zone. You’ll also find a Pro Shop with top-notch sporting gear.

Costa Adeje Golf Club

Meloneras Golf
Ocean and mountains? What a fantastic setting for golf! Meloneras Golf is set right on the coast, offering splendid sea views on one side and a mountainous backdrop on the other.
Located between Meloneras and Pasito Blanco, this course was designed by architect Ron Kirby. It’s a versatile layout suitable for both beginners and more experienced players, with 18 holes: 9 shaded by mountains and palm trees, and the remaining 9 set right by the sea – creating a truly unique experience. The complex also includes a restaurant, a practice area, and the Pro Shop, where you’ll find top golfing brands, accessories, and souvenirs.

Salobre Golf
Located in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, in southern Gran Canaria, Salobre Golf is set against a stunning volcanic landscape. The venue has hosted renowned tournaments and is suitable for golfers of all abilities – from novices to highly skilled players.
Designed by Roland Favré and opened in 1999, the course now blends the best of two worlds – NEW and OLD. Since 2023, both courses were merged into one, making it the only course on the island offering three layouts.
It now features 18 holes from the OLD course and 9 holes (1 to 3 and 13 to 18) with a par 36 from the NEW course. The club offers cutting-edge services and facilities such as a golf academy, driving range, a mile-long practice area, the Club Maker, and the ability to track your stats with the Salobre Golf Scorecard. Anfi Tauro Golf
Anfi Tauro Golf is located in the municipality of Mogán, between Puerto Rico and Puerto de Mogán, covering a vast 650,000 m² area. Modelled after an “Arizona-style” layout, the course lies in the Taurito ravine with red rocks that evoke the feel of the American Southwest.
Anfi Tauro suits all levels, thanks to its multiple tee boxes that allow for flexible play and quicker rounds. There’s also a Par-3 course for perfecting your technique. The complex features a golf school with various lesson packages and prices. It’s also renowned for hosting prestigious events like the Spanish PGA Championship.

Las Palmeras Golf
Located in the heart of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Las Palmeras Golf is the island’s first urban course and a pioneer in Spain. The complex spans nearly 80,000 m² and features 18 par-3 holes recognised as Pitch & Putt by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation.
It’s designed for city golfers, with holes ranging from 40 to 120 metres and two unique layouts: the first 9 holes follow a British structure, while the other 9 adopt an American style – including the famed hole 15 with its green.

Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas
The Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas is Spain’s oldest golf course. It was founded in 1891 by British immigrants in Lomo del Polvo, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and redesigned by the renowned architect Mackenzie Ross when it relocated in 1957.
Here, golfers can enjoy the unique setting of the Bandama Caldera – a former volcano 800 metres in diameter and 200 metres deep – offering breathtaking views. The course features 18 holes par 71, alongside facilities such as a practice tee, two putting greens, and a Clubhouse with a shop, gym, and restaurant open year-round. You can also hire clubs on site. It stands out for its excellent amenities for other sports too, including 50 horse stalls, 5 riding arenas, and two tennis courts. Be sure to book your green fee!
