Interview with Flavio, Bellboy at the Platinum Yucatan Princess #WeArePrincess

Today, we have the pleasure to introduce you to Flavio, a member of the Bellman department at the Platinum Yucatan Princess Hotel.

He will be the person who will welcome you when you arrive at the hotel and will help you with everything you need in a warm and friendly manner.

Can you briefly introduce yourself?

My name is Flavio, from the Bellmen Department – Reception. I consider myself a very sociable person with everyone and especially with guests. I like meeting people, making friends and getting along with everyone.

Can you tell us where are you from and how you ended up working at Princess?

I am from the state of Veracruz. I have been living in Playa del Carmen for 10 years now.

I came to Princess through a friend who contacted me: he was already here at the hotel and I had the opportunity to join this family as well.

What is your job at the Platinum Yucatan Princess Hotel?

My job as a bellboy is to welcome guests and inform them about everything they need to know about the hotel, from their arrival to their departure.

What do you value most in your work?

Everything! It is a very good company, it has allowed me to have many things, for example my house. I brought my family here to live in Playa del Carmen, and we are very happy.

Which is your favourite place in the Riviera Maya? And in the hotel?

In the Riviera Maya I go to Cenote Azul with my family, it’s not far away, fifteen minutes, I recommend it. And here at the hotel, my favourite place is the whole reception area, where my department is and where we constantly interact with guests.

What would be your recommendation for someone visiting us? What you consider a must!

I recommend 5ª Avenida, it is a very beautiful place you should visit if you enjoy art and beauty.
