Two must-visit water parks in Gran Canaria
Kidzworld zone at Aqualand MaspalomasThanks to the wonderful climate, you can enjoy water parks all year round when you visit the Canary Islands. And the island of Gran Canaria has some of the best for having fun and splashing around in the water. The perfect way to pass the time with family or friends!
1. Aqualand Maspalomas
Aqualand Maspalomas is located in the Gran Canarian town of Maspalomas. This park has dozens of slides, water labyrinths and a huge kamikaze slide – plus lots more. They’re guaranteed to get your adrenaline going – and maybe your fear of heights?
There’s a Kidzworld zone for the little ones where they can play and have fun on water slides and attractions at speeds and sizes tailor-made for them. And you’ll find a wide range of catering options throughout the park: self-service, cafes, snack bars and ice cream stalls.
As you walk around the facilities, you’ll also come across a shop with everything you need to enjoy a day at a water park in Gran Canaria: swimsuits, sun cream, towels, armbands, goggles and more. And you might want to pick up a souvenir whilst you’re there – take your pick from toys, cuddly toys and T-shirts with the Aqualand logo.
Aqualand Maspalomas is open every day from 10:00 till 17:00, with discounted prices for children and Canary Island residents.
The park is really near to our Maspalomas Princess, Tabaiba Princess and Gran Canaria Princess hotels.
Maspalomas Princess is a 4-star resort close to Maspalomas beach. It has its own tropical gardens brimming with palm trees – the perfect spot to relax – as well as an artificial beach. And it’s just 3.5 kilometres from Aqualand Maspalomas.
