• Carbon footprint. The Climate Neutral Now framework from the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change is used to calculate emissions linked to the hotel’s activity.
• Waste management. Selective separation, recycling and waste reduction are assessed.

The assessment also takes into account relevant information on the hotel’s sustainable management, adapting the comparison to factors such as size, location and the property’s own characteristics.
