The 4 star hotel La Palma & Teneguía Princess Vital & Fitness is an oasis of tranquility located on the most pristine and green island of the Canary Islands: La Palma, which is called called Isla Bonita for a reason.

The location of the hotel is outstanding in every way, as the sunny southwest coast of La Palma, boasts nice weather all year round. If you’re looking for rest and relaxation, look no further!

The 4 star resort La Palma & Teneguía Princess Vital & Fitness is designed like a Canarian village with shady patios and palm-tree lined paths, perched on a cliff overlooking the sea. It’s the perfect hideaway, surrounded by lush banana groves.

The hotel’s 484 rooms are spread over several 3 story buildings which are perfectly integrated with the landscape. The majority of the rooms offer stunning views over the Atlantic, the tropical gardens or the spectacular pool landscape with its seven pools, including a kid’s pool and a pool with an artificial beach.

Our family hotel in La Palma, has everything you need for a truly unbeatable family holiday. For our youngest guests, there’s a special pool and a kid’s club. The dedicated animation provides fun-filled activities throughout the day. If you are looking for an adults only hotel in La Palma, check out the Esencia de La Palma : Our sister hotel welcomes adults over 16 years with refurbished rooms, 4 outdoor pools, a pool bar and an exclusive buffet-restaurant. Guests staying in this new hotel will also be able to enjoy all the facilities and services the La Palma & Teneguia Princess offers.

Another highlight of the La Palma & Teneguía Princess is that it’s a hotel with a spa : the Aqua Princess Spa features a thermal circuit (including water jets and whirlpools), several saunas as well as multi-sensory showers. The Spa team offers a selection of treatments and massages that are sure to leave you feeling great.

And for sports lovers we have something very special! The hotel’s spacious gym boasts state-of-the-art equipment and a wide variety of exercise classes, like spinning, TBT, pilates, yoga, core or zumba.

But that’s not all: There’s also tennis and multi-use courts, a beach volleyball court and a lap pool waiting for you at the La Palma & Teneguia Princess.

The sunset terrace overlooking the sea invites to practice tai chi.

The La Palma & Teneguía Princess really has all the ingredients for a unique and unforgettable stay amidst stunning nature. We are sure you’ll fall in love with the island’s lush laurel forests, steep Atlantic coastline, and alpine mountain pikes. The green island is not only a UNESCO biosphere reserve, but also the very first „Starlight Reserve“ in the world. Here are some ideas of what to do in La Palma.

The most beautiful beaches of La Palma

Fuencaliente is, besides the warmest area of the island, one of the most beautiful municipalities, because it is where volcanoes (San Antonio and Teneguía volcanoes), vineyards, lighthouses, wild beaches and spectacular salt mines meet.

Two beaches are a must: Fuencaliente Lighthouse Beach and Playa Nueva (with its pools or natural pools of Playa Nueva). This beach (also called Echentive, due to its pre-Hispanic toponym) is protected by a cliff and is made of volcanic sand and stones. It is almost a wild beach and, although access is by car, the unique beauty of this spot, with its natural swimming pools of crystalline and green waters, is well worth it. In fact, we will be delighted to tell you the story of its creation and the reason for its name (Playa Nueva) and its relationship with the natural spa of healing waters, the Fuente Santa.

Outside Fuencaliente, the beaches of Nogales, Arenas Blancas (or Salameras) and Los Cancajos are other famous beaches that we recommend you visit.

The Playa de Nogales is one of the best rated beaches on La Palma for its beauty. A wild beach with intricate access (up and down a path of steps), it offers you an unforgettable image, full of colours and natural elements in contrast: the blue of the Atlantic, the black of its sand and cliffs and green, a lot of green. Often chosen for surfing.

The Blanca Arenas Blancas de La Palma owes its name precisely to the light colour of its sand, which is not usual on the beaches of Isla Bonita. It is a small beach with a lot of charm, thanks to the presence of huts and boats and the abundant remains of shells and molluscs.

The Playa de Los Cancajos is one of the most famous beaches of La Palma. Close to Santa Cruz de la La Palma, it is covered by the classic volcanic sand and protected by a volcanic stone breakwater, which makes its waters calm. It is one of the most chosen beaches for diving.

Other places of interest on La Palma

The National Park of the Caldera de Taburiente is one of the places you cannot miss. At 2,000 metres above sea level, multiple streams and waterfalls emerge from the centuries-old pine forests that populate both the summits (El Roque de los Muchachos or La Cumbrecita) and the bottom of the impressive Caldera.

The capital, Santa Cruz de la Palma, is also a visit of tourist interest. The Mercado de Abastos, the Avenida Marítima, the Calle Real, the Iglesia de Santo Domingo… Live and discover the endless charm of Isla Bonita and its capital!
