At Princess Hotels Punta Cana we are aware of the impact we can have on the community and make every effort to mitigate this impact through social activities

For example, on the 6th of September last we made a donation of school supplies to the local Cortecito school. This heartfelt action was part of our Princess and You 360 programme, which is a reflection of the hotel chain’s commitment to our region.

Cortecito School, located in the beautiful tourist area of Punta Cana, holds about 70 students who attend in two different shifts in ages ranging from 4-5 years old to 12-13 years old.

The handing out of school supplies was carried out with the utmost respect for the students’ educational process, avoiding interrupting their classes. The school principal received the representatives of Princess Hotels with a warm welcome and expressed her gratitude on behalf of the entire educational institution. She pledged to distribute the donated supplies fairly and conscientiously among the students, ensuring that the resources would be used to enrich their learning experience.

The donation consisted of a variety of essential school supplies the likes of pencils, pens, notebooks and paints, etc., in an effort to ensure that students have the tools required to succeed in their studies.

It is worth noting that these donation campaigns are not one-off events, but rather part of an ongoing Princess Hotels initiative that continues throughout the year.
