The Princess Hotels & Resorts chain with its headquarters in Reus (Tarragona), and which currently has 23 hotels in Costa Dorada, Costa del Sol, the Canary Isles and the Dominican Republic, has chosen Barcelona as the location for its first city hotel which opened on 5 March 2004.
The architect behind this ambitious project, both for the construction and for the interior design, is the well-known Óscar Tusquets. The hotel has two towers (109 m high), with 23 and 26 floors respectively, joined together by see-through passageways.
